Safe Haven Kids League of California City: Back 2 School Backpack Job Fair & Community Resource Giveaway

This event will include the following: Free Backpack and Resupply of educational items, free giveaways to all that attend, bounce house, art & crafts for the kids, Karaoke, hygiene ‘Cal-City Starbucks will be there free to our community and much more.. Pictures with Sponsor & (SHKLCC) team, last year we served over 600 kids in our backpack giveaway. We want to continue seeing the smiles on their faces. The community was able to apply for not just jobs but careers with your help (SHKLCC) has been doing amazing things here in our community. We now have our community resource center open to all communities in East Kern County. This year we would love to give even more with your help. It has become increasingly difficult for organizations to continue to provide excellent services. community. The reason behind this is due to the increasing costs and the current economic environment. That’s the reason why we need your help. I feel strongly about the (SHKLCC) your help to our organization will help us continuously serve our community.

Noel Alexandria Foundation: Running with the Angels 5K

Noel Alexandria Foundation is hosting its 6th Annual Running with the Angels 5K RunWalk

N.A.F. was founded in the summer of 2018. The mission of the Noel Alexandria Foundation is to raise awareness and break the silence on Pregnancy and Infant Loss. N.A.F provides free educational, emotional, and financial resources to families affected by Pregnancy and Infant Loss here in Kern County, CA, and internationally. Honoring angel babies gone too soon while raising awareness for pregnancy and infant loss. All proceeds will be donated to the Noel Alexandria Foundation to continue to provide free emotional, educational, and financial resources to families who have been affected by pregnancy and infant loss.

KRV Bridge Connection Resource Fair

The KRV Bridge Connection is hosting a Resource Fair on July 31, 2023, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Senior Center in Lake Isabella. The Resource Fair will provide FREE resources and support services such as Mental Health, Shelter, Food and Clothing, Public Services, Community Services, Transportation, CAPK food boxes, and much more. The Resource Fair supports connecting families and underserved individuals to the resources they need.
