(SHKLCC) is an organization dedicated to help families and especially youth in our community. Over the last year we have been able to help more than 800 families. We are currently in the early stages of planning our next event “A Day With Our Seniors Citizen of our community. This event will include the following: Parents and kids come out and enjoy a day of community & fun With our 50 & above Club, the kids and youth of our community will serve our seniors remembering where we come from though our seniors. We will have pictures for keepsakes of memories for the kids and families, we will be giving a lot of amazing items to our seniors for free. We are also asking the senior center bingo board to host BINGO for this event. We also will have Karaoke and a lot of fun for our 50 & above club. Starbucks of Cal-City will be there supporting & giving back to our seniors and community for free also the Boy & Girls scouts and many more organizations will be there supporting and helping with this event. Opportunity Drawing / Arts & Crafts / Food, Water & juice / blankets and a lot more.
We are thrilled that our Got The Dot Club has doubled from 12 participating high schools to 24 high schools in just one year! And we need help continuing our growth and bringing awareness and education about organ, eye, and tissue donation as well as to honor families who have been through the organ donation process. That’s why JJ’s Legacy’s Got the Dot High School Leadership Program is proud to hold its third annual Got the Dot Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, March 2nd.
The 5k walk, organized entirely by high school students, takes place at CSUB’s Amphitheater from 9 am-12:30 pm! The walk is family-friendly and open to everyone.
There will be food trucks, live bands, activities and games, as well as information booths. Check-in will begin at 9am, the event kicks off at 10:30 am, and the walk will begin at 11 am.
Anyone who pre-registers for the event by Tuesday, February 20 th will get a FREE T-shirt, however, day of participation is welcome. The goal this year is to get 1,000 participants!
We are excited to announce our upcoming Backpack Drive & Block Party, hosted by Stay Focused Ministries and Fresco Mexican Grill & Meat Market, on July 29th, 2023.
The event will take place at. We will be distributing 1,000 backpacks to children in need, along with free tacos, live music, games, and more. It will be a day filled with fun, community engagement, and support for our future generation.
We invite you to join us at this vibrant community event and help make a difference in the lives of local children. By attending and spreading the word, you will contribute to empowering our community and ensuring that students have the necessary tools for a successful academic year.
Noel Alexandria Foundation is hosting its 6th Annual Running with the Angels 5K RunWalk
N.A.F. was founded in the summer of 2018. The mission of the Noel Alexandria Foundation is to raise awareness and break the silence on Pregnancy and Infant Loss. N.A.F provides free educational, emotional, and financial resources to families affected by Pregnancy and Infant Loss here in Kern County, CA, and internationally. Honoring angel babies gone too soon while raising awareness for pregnancy and infant loss. All proceeds will be donated to the Noel Alexandria Foundation to continue to provide free emotional, educational, and financial resources to families who have been affected by pregnancy and infant loss.
