Founded on August 8th, 2000, Kern River Valley Heritage Foundation (KRVHF) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust and a member of the Land Trust Alliance. They are funded by a variety of local, state, and national entities, and also by members of the Kern River Valley Community and elsewhere. KRVHF is hosting a Volunteer Day at Hanning Flat on Saturday, February 11. KRVHF is planning to install 5 more burrowing owl sets and complete planting. The Foundation will provide a treat to share with their hungry workers! KRVHF aims to complete the tasks by noon and then come together for a picnic lunch.
