The Kern Economic Development Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, fosters a robust talent pipeline to fulfill the demand for STEM jobs in Kern County. KEDF is dedicated to developing the local workforce to meet the demands of the nation’s 4th most STEM-inclusive job economies. The Foundation’s Women in STEM group drives the community’s promotion of STEM careers to local women through volunteering, mentoring students, and promoting professional development.
Join KEDF for the second annual Summer Mixer and Fundraiser hosted by Kern County Women in STEM at BottleShock Wine and Brew, located at 1002 19th Street, Bakersfield, CA, on Thursday, July 27th, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Every year, the Women in STEM group convenes for an evening of fellowship, fun, and fundraising to expose local women and girls to opportunities in STEM Careers.
