Bristol Hospice Foundation of CA 28th Annual Bakersfield Kids Camp is open to any child in the community age 6-16 who has suffered the death of a loved one, even if the person who died never used hospice services. Kids Camp provides children a safe environment to find healing and peace through games, activities and common fellowship with each other. During camp bereavement counselors are on site to work with children who may need one-on-one time and attention. Children are encouraged to share with one another often finding strength by supporting another camper. With the assistance of organizations and individuals within our community, Bristol Hospice Foundation of CA, a non-profit agency, provides this camp at No Cost to families.
Camp will be divided into three sessions. Sessions I and II are 2 ½ day overnight camps:
One Day Ages 6-9 will be held on Saturday, July 23rd (8:30am – 2pm)
