American Red Cross Seeks Disaster Preparedness Workers for Outreach to Latino and Indigenous Communities
The American Red Cross of Los Angeles, Ventura, and Kern Counties are looking for qualified applicants to join the California Disaster Team AmeriCorps and be part of LISTOS, a free program that teaches emergency preparedness to elementary schools in Latino and indigenous communities. Some highlights about this position:
- 30-hour-per-week workload, from Oct. 2018 through Aug. 2019.
- Child care supplementary scholarship is available if applicable.
- The position comes with an educational grant of $4,144 can be applied toward student loans or future school fees.
