KernHealthNow!Grant to Friends of Mercy Foundation
Jan Hefner and Stephanie Weber joined me for a presentation of a $15,000 grant to the Friends of Mercy Foundation. The grant was awarded from KernHealthNow!, a grantmaking initiative to provide health care and health education to underserved residents of rural Kern County.
KernHealthNowGrant to Friends of Mercy Foundation: Jan Hefner and Stephanie Weber joined me for a presentation of a $15,000 grant to the Friends of Mercy Foundation. The grant was awarded from KernHealthNow!, a grantmaking initiative to provide health care and health education to underserved residents of rural Kern County. The grant will be used to support supplies the Friends of Mercy Foundation's efforts to help people manage chronic diseases, such as diabetes, and to conduct community health screenings in rural communities. Year-end donations to the Friends of Mercy Foundation can be through the organization's profile on Kern Community Foundation's online Nonprofit Search.
