In response to the Erskine Fire in the Kern River Valley the Kern Community Foundation has established the Community Disaster Relief Fund. The fund may receive gifts from individuals, corporations, and private foundations. The focus of the fund is to provide assistance in the areas of resettlement, rebuilding, and infrastructure within the affected area.
